This drawing was inspired by the memory of that wonderful, noisy and ever reliable experience of using a 110mm camera. The crunching of winding on the film followed by that loud and abrupt clunk of taking the photo. Often I forget to wind on the film correctly and would achieve some ghostly photography, my brother’s translucent figure hovering over an out of focus, poorly cropped image of a castle, a definate one for the family album :)
I recently found a great shop in Manchester that is selling brand new productions of the 110 cameras and films. Their popularity seems to be returning, probably due to their iconic 70’s and 80’s status.
