Here are the details and links to the information I will be chatting about in my ‘Creative Catch-up’ on BBC Radio Suffolk with @JournoJon tonight from 7pm :)
I will also be challenging Jon Wright and Matt Marvell with a creative challenge from the FREE Activity Art Pack from Firstsite, Colchester.
The show must go on (virtually) at The Seagull Theatre, Pakefield
The brilliant Seagull Theatre in Pakefield, near Lowestoft, have thrown open their theatre doors… virtually! A whole host of thespians from their creative community have made a series of hilarious short films that can be found via their Seagull Theatre Youtube channel. I particularly enjoyed the Garden Safari, where the actor does a commentary over their cat playing in the garden, making it sound like a wild animal. Head over to their channel and and subscribe to get your theatre fix! :)

BBC Bitesize Virtual School
The BBC have launched an amazing virtual school via their BBC Bitesize platform. This FREE online resource offers teaching and learning resources and lessons for children who are being home schooled by parents and guardians. Famous faces are leading some of the lessons, such as Jodie Whitaker who drops in to Bitesize daily lessons, who wouldn’t want to be taught by Dr Who? How inspiring :) You can search by age range within the Art & Deisgn offering via the following link.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/subjects/z8tnvcw

VIRTUAL SUFFOLK LIBRARIES
Suffolk Libraries have continued to evolve with every week that their bricks and mortar libraries are closed. Their latest online offering is a series of really interesting podcasts that shine a light on the lives of creatives from the region. They also have a growing number of videos that you can learn new skills from… like singing lessons with the brilliant Rob Gildon. Great work Suffolk Libraries :)

I’m on BBC Radio Suffolk with my ‘Creative Catch-up’ every Monday evening, just after 7pm. Please get in touch with you own creative stories and opportunities via artist@andy-greenacre.co.uk
