Opportunities to be creative…
I believe that being presented with the opportunity to be creative is really important. On previous weeks we spoke about the fear that many people have of a blank sheet of white paper and how you can start to overcome this common barrier to creative.
Today I want to give you a few creative prompts for you to go away and have a go at. Someone setting you a task and encouraging you to play and explore an idea can be all that you will need to start a lifelong exploration of a medium or practice. I did exactly this 3 years ago with a lino printing kit, that led me on to leave my job as a teacher and follow my dreams to be a full-time artist.
